Our take

The Always Pan 2.0 is Our Place's second-generation multi-purpose ceramic-coated pan, marketed as a replacement for sear, sauté, simmer, and bake duties (oven-safe to 425°F per the manufacturer). The ceramic coating is PFAS-free per Our Place's product page disclosure. Like all ceramic-coated cookware, the literature on these coatings puts non-stick service life at roughly 2-3 years of regular use before degradation — shorter than uncoated stainless or cast iron, longer than older PTFE coatings. Best fit for small kitchens or people who prefer a single pan over a full set.
